25 de março The Da Vinci CodeWhat ever you may think of the content of the book, Tom Hanks in a Ron Howard thriller is going to be good... Quote The Da Vinci Code - Trailer #1 24 de novembro Talking about Superman Returns - Teaser TrailerI have no idea if this film will be any good, but I have high hopes. It is interesting that they are using the archive footage of Marlin Brando from the first Superman movie in this new one to continue his portrayal of Superman's father....he may have been the best part of the original. Quote Superman Returns - Teaser Trailer 19 de novembro The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe - Theatrical TrailerI am pretty excited about this movie. I have wished for some time that the sidekicks had been big enough to see The Lord of the Rings movies when they were in theaters, but seeing an Orc get decapitated probably is not the stuff of sweet dreams for a five year old, so they had to miss out. Now we have an epic fantasy literary work turned film just for them. Chronicles will sport a PG rating, and it just looks pretty darn cool. If you see this preview in theaters it gives absolute chills! Quote The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe - Theatrical Trailer 14 de novembro Tastes Like ChickenThe Balding Avenger Corps had a nice adventure yesterday. We made a day of it, first having a LARGE lunch at Famous Dave's BBQ, and then moving on to see Walt Disney's Chicken Little. The Sidekicks had a big time. Kenzie discovered that she has genetically inherited her mother's love of smoked pulled pork BBQ.
Chicken Little was a lot of fun. It was funny, and made great use of music from "back in the day" for comic value. The Ugly Duckling and Runt of the Litter doing karaoke of the Spice Girls is just pretty dang entertaining, and lets just say that Cameron was "shakin' his tail feather" during the closing credits. All in all a pretty good flick. I guess this is supposed to be a movie review, so I should give it a rating. Instead of "9 out of 10" or "4 stars" I think I will use a more accurate measure of the films quality......bounce factor. You see, the way I know if a kid's movie is any good is by the amount of bouncing the sidekicks do in their seats while watching it. A low bounce factor is not too good, but if they are all but jumping up and down, the movie is the perfect kid flick. From watching my sidekicks, I can say Chicken Little has a bounce factor of high. |
